He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wesley Sheppard, Sr. and Velma Cleo Sheppard (Burtner). He is survived by: his sisters, Bonita Sheppard Agee (William) and Justina B. Dunlap; his niece Laura Dunlap Shaffer (Brian); his great-nieces, Sarah Carlisle and Rebekah Foy (Douglas); and also Reese E. Foy.
