She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Schlosser Ropp; and her parents, Grayson Franklin and Nellie Mae Bussard Cartee. She is survived by: her children, Linda Wiles (Larry) of Smithsburg, Frank Ropp (Becky) of Middletown, Frances Draper (Mark) of Myersville, Donna Ecker of Boonsboro, Faye Wastler (Brad) of Middletown and Becky Schroyer (Larry) of Myersville; her son-in-law Barry Bidle of Middletown; her brother Charles Cartee; her sisters-in-law, Ester Lerch and Emma Brace Blumenauer; her daughter Edna Bidle; her siblings, Ruth Kendig, Betty Jane Brandenburg and Austin Cartee; and her close friend Mae Grossnickle. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren also survive and 15 great-grandchildren. she leaves behind her companion "Lucy" her beloved cat.
