With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Gertrude (Lighter) Bussard (Middletown, Maryland), born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on June 7, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth "Peck" Bussard; and her parents, Grayson E. Lighter and Helen Haupt Lighter. She is survived by: her sons, Larry K. Bussard (Sue) and Barry A. Bussard (Carol); her grandsons, Kevin A. Bussard (Victoria) and Clay A. Bussard (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Grayson K. Bussard, Olivia G. Bussard and Brooks A. Bussard; and her sister-in-law Grace Lighter. She is also survived by many cousins, outstanding friends, wonderful in-laws, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may made to Zion Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Frederick County, 516 Trail Ave., POB 1799, Frederick, MD.
