He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Thomas Cogar and Lois Jacqueline Maxwell (Bagshaw). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Cogar; his sons, Mark P. Cogar (Kathleen) and Todd P. Cogar (Tracey); his grandchildren, Tyler, Hanna, Joshua, Abigail and Ethan; and his siblings, Damon Cogar, Genanne Knight, Susan Cox, Brenda O'Donnell and Cynthia Keegan.
