It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William John Ferreira (Mechanicsville, Maryland), who passed away on January 13, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Martin Ferreira and Caroline Sousa Ferreira; his wife Teresa; his sons, William (Terri) and Matthew (Stephanie); his stepdaughter Dawn McDonald (Scott); his great-nephew Brendan Utt; his grandchildren, Emma, Elise, Enzo and Addison; and his siblings, George, John, Donna Meece (Mark), Mary Ann Prell (Bobby) and Elizabeth Wynn (George).

Memorial contributions are asked to Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center (Georgetown), 3800 Reservoir Road NW, Washington, DC 20007-2113.
