It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Edgar Young Jr. (Mechanicsville, Maryland), who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar, Sr. and Virginia E. Young; his daughter Vanessa Elaine; and his grandson Keith Young. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Cecelia Curtis; and his siblings, Helen Chase (late George) of Bryantown, MD, Laura Woodland (Joseph) of Charlotte Hall, MD, Mary Young of Waldorf, MD and Paul Young (Nancy) of Mitchellville, MD. He is also survived by his wife, six children, fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, two sons-in-law and four daughters-in-law.
