It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Carpenter of Mechanicsville, Maryland, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Tucker and Gladys Tucker (Soper); her husband Robert Wayne Carpenter; and her granddaughter Christina Maier. She is survived by: her children, Tracy Alan Carpenter (Michelle) of Valley Lee, MD, Curtis Wayne Carpenter of Mechanicsville, MD and Sheryl Renee Carpenter (Kurt) of Denver, CO; her sister Gladys Rebecca Doremus (James) of Camp Springs, MD; her granddaughters, Samantha Ivy Lyon Carpenter of Leonardtown, MD and Megan Cundiff of Great Mills, MD; and her great grandchildren, Aaralynne Jerome, Aaden Jerome, Amir Neale and Anan Neale.
