She is survived by: her parents, William Butler (Brenda) and Karen Thomas-Akintade (Eddie); her cousin Mario Washington; her children, Jaylen Howell and Shaylen Akintade; her siblings, Collins Akintade, Jr. (Marshalluna), James Holmes, Jr. (Kayla), Myeshia Young and Taneshia Butler; her grandparents, Jane and Louis Thomas, Sr.; her aunts and uncles, William Dickens (Cleo), Louis X. Thomas, Jr., Robert Thomas (LaTasha), John Butler, Marvin Butler (Carla), Gertrude Bowman (Melvin), Phyllis Washington (Gerald) and Janice Thomas; her godmother Sarah Young (Dwayne); her nieces, Jalia, Shamia Holley, Symari Akintade, Laina and Lyric Holmes; and her nephew Ramie Holmes (Sariesha Davis). She is also survived by friends and family members but forever be remembered as a talented hairdresser, loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and devoted friend.
