We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2023, at the age of 86, Sarah Gilbert of Mechanicsville, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Day and Franklin R. Mason; her husband Aaron A. Gilbert; and her brother Richard Mason. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Ford of Mechanicsville, MD, Michael Gilbert of Mechanicsville, MD, Linda Windsor of Mechanicsville, MD and Lisa Gilbert of Great Mills, MD. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
