He was predeceased by: his son Steven Benfield; and his siblings, Betty Hudson, Peggy Morgan and Roger Benfield Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Benfield; his daughters, Patricia Goldsmith (John Goldsmith) and Pamala Gerek (Jeffrey Gerek); his daughter-in-law Margie Benfield; his brothers, Clay Benfield and Douglas Benfield; and his grandchildren, Savanna, Jackson Benfield, Michael and Matthew Gerek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
