She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. Shorter, Sr. and Pearl E. Shorter (Hitch); her husband Walter Z. Graves; her brother Harry A. Shorter, Jr.; and her granddaughter Stephanie L. Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn A. Montgomery, Lawrence A. Graves (Marlene), Donna J. Wood (Ronnie) and Kenneth W. Graves (Rodie); her grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Josh, David and Zack; and her great grandchildren, Joslyn, Cameron, Jordyn, Caleb, Alanna and Jacob.
