She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Medley and Evelyn Dyson (Yorkshire); her daughter Angela Denise Briscoe; and her brothers, Thomas Leroy Dyson, Robert Lee "Bobby" Medley and Vincent DePaul "Johnny" Medley.

She is survived by: her husband John F. Briscoe III of Mechanicsville, MD; her children, Beverly M. Briscoe of Baltimore, MD, Jonathan of Mechanicsville, MD, William (Sandra) of Mechanicsville, MD, Kevin (Eleanor) of Mechanicsville, MD and Terrance Briscoe (Michelle) of Mechanicsville, MD; her siblings, Donna Cannon (Rickie) of O'Fallon, MO, Carolyn Johnson (Chris) of Lithia, FL, Michelle Reed of Temple Hills, MD and Joseph Medley Jr. (Beverly) of Leonardtown, MD; and her nieces and nephews, Jean King of Laurel, MD and Anthony "Darnell" King (Joyce) of Upland, CA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other extended family.
