It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Ida Lacroix of Mechanicsville, Maryland, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry LaCroix and Emilina Plante; her stepfather Robert Drouin; her brothers, Leon LaCroix and Leo LaCroix; her siblings-in-law, Emilie Neil and James VanEtten; and her close friend Raymond Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Paul King (Vicky) of Waldorf, MD and Lisa Faunce (Mike); her grandchildren, Jacob Faunce of Mechanicsville, MD and Megan King of Waldorf, MD.; her siblings, Yvette VanEtten, Giselle Lugar (Dave) and Albert LaCroix (Nora); and her sisters-in-law, Thelma LaCroix and Patricia LaCroix. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
