Judith Hammond Guffey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Hammond Guffey of Mechanicsville, Maryland, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Broadus Jeter and Lorraine Krause Hammond; her husband Alvin Joseph Guffey; and her sister Betty Jane Dacheux of York, Pennsylvania.. She is survived by: her children, Nabil Isaac Wayne Guffey (April) of Charlotte Hall and Rouhi Guffey Hairston (Christopher) of Annapolis, Maryland; her siblings, Harry Broadus Hammond (Betty) of Salisbury and Allison Hammond Cox (Christopher) of Castle Rock, Colorado; and her grandchildren, John, Daniel, Wyatt, Chase and Violet. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
