With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Lucille Thompson of Mechanicsville, Maryland, born in La Plata, Maryland, who passed away on August 15, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence A. Berry and Vera Mae "Hamilton" Long. She is survived by: her husband Charles Willard Thompson; her children, Ella Beavers (Danny) of Thomson, GA, Patricia Copsey (David) of Mechanicsville, MD, Michele Grassinger (Thomas) of Mechanicsville, MD and Charles W. Thompson, Jr. (Barbara) of Mechanicsville, MD.; her brother Laurence A. Berry (Roxanne) of Bryans Road, MD; and her half-brother Thomas Harold Jacobs (Danita) of New Bern, NC.. She is also survived by grandchildren and two (2) great grandchildren.
