He is survived by: his daughter Tina Crossman (Dean) of Birmingham, Alabama; his grandchildren, Lucas Barrett of Gulfport, Tyler Barrett (Talia) of Temple, Sydney Barrett of Corpus Christi and Cooper Crossman of Birmingham, Alabama; his son Joseph Tippett, Jr. (Shannon) of Mechanicsville, Maryland; and his grandson Gavin.
