With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Edward Daye of Mechanicsville, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Ware and Walter Warren Daye; and his siblings, James W. Daye, Barbara Buttacavolia, Mary E. Gerlach and Richard L. Daye.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lee Daye; his daughter Tamara Lynn Daye of Mechanicsville, MD; his grandson Gavin W. Daye; and also, William H. Daye of Lakeland, FL, Walter W. Daye of Purcellville, VA and Patricia A. Krzyminski of Potomac, MD.
