It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Allen Taylor of Mechanicsville, Maryland, born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his adoptive father Henry E. Taylor; and his stepfather Twiman Joiner. He is survived by: his sister Shelia Williams; his fiancée Joan Marie Wathen of Mechanicsville, MD; his children, Laura Taylor Stroud of Durham, NC, Christopher Allen Taylor of Durham, NC and Amanda Lynn Taylor of Ramey, NC; his adoptive mother Edith Schoening; his brother Alan Taylor; and his sisters-in-law, Diana of Benton, KY, Sheila and J. B. Williams of Cadiz, KY..
