He is survived by: his daughter Ernestine Baker of Mechanicsville, MD.; his wife Ruby Mae Collins; his siblings, Thomas Collins, Virginia Stricklen and Mary Collins; his niece Agnes Harrell; and his grandchildren, Navarsha Shubert, James Dickerson III, Ruby Lynch, Joseph Baker Jr. and Joshua Baker. He is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren.
