He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Herman Bowles and Livy Ann Harrison; his sisters, Sandra Kay Thompson, Judy Lynn Kara and Sharon Jean Bell; and his nephews, Steven Benfield and Justin Bowles.

He is survived by: his siblings, Joanne Benfield, Livy Lee Herche, Donnie Bowles, David Bowles, Jackie Zielstorf, Dale Bowles, Lilly Griffith and Joe Bowles.

“Eddie and I were friends since 1995. We went everywhere together. I was his (personal chauffeur). We traveled out of town to casinos from Atlantic City NJ to Charlestown West VA. The first day I met Eddie he had been crabbing and gave me a bushel of crabs, they were delicious. Eddie was truly a gentle man with the biggest kindest heart ever. My family loved Eddie and Eddie loved my family. Rest on Eddie my buddy. My deepest sympathy goes out to David Bowles and the entire family. Renee’”
