She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edwards and Alma Edwards; her spouse Merle Wright; and her daughter Sharon Underwood. She is survived by: her children, Donna Barden of Mechanicsville, MD, Laurie Bonds (John) of Damascus, MD and Janet Shoemaker (James) of Thurmont, MD.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
