He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Edward "Eddie" Richards and Esther Richards (Gemeny); and his wife Evelyn Oliver Richards. He is survived by: his children, Kevin E. Richards of Hollywood, MD, Donna L. Richards of Reston, VA and Karen E. Friedman of Newport News, VA. He is also survived by grandchildren and three (3) great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
