With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Carpenter (Mechanicsville, Maryland), born in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, who passed away on March 26, 2018 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her husband James C. Carpenter, Sr.; and her siblings, Ralph Oliver, Robert Oliver, Tony Oliver, Frances, Edith and Thelma.
She is survived by: her children, James C. Carpenter, Jr. (Jennifer) of Lusby, MD and Kimberly J. Garner of Lothian, MD; and her siblings, Steven Oliver of Woodbine, MD, Gladys Marker of Germantown, MD and Judith Ann Oliver of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
