It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Alexander Wathen of Mechanicsville, Maryland, born in Loveville, Maryland, who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George Wathen; his sister Edna Burch; and his grandson Christopher Wood. He is survived by: his children, Randal A. Wathen of Mechanicsville, MD, Sandra L. Tennison (Tom) of Warsaw, VA, Cheryl Wood (Tommy) of California, MD and Perry M. Wathen (Nikki) of Mechanicsville, MD; his brother Dr. George Wathen (Lucy) of Welcome, MD; his grandchildren, Jonathan Tennison, Joseph Tennison, Austin Wathen, Christina Wathen, Megan Wathen and Samantha Wathen; and his great grandchild Levi Wathen.
