It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Coats of Mechanicsville, Maryland, born in Lynch, Kentucky, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Deloris Dominquez (Alverez) and Francisco Dominquez; her spouse Jerry Lynn Coats; and her siblings, Lucy Dominguez and Nicholas Dominguez.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Coats (Kimberly) of Mechanicsville, MD and Chris Coats (Jackie) of Gainesville, VA; her sisters, Virginia "Jenny" Dominguez and Juanita Anderson; and her grandchildren, Taylor Corrine and Hayden Mackenzie.
