It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Bowman-Veney (Mechanicsville, Maryland), born in Chaptico, Maryland, who passed away on November 26, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Frances Bowman and Charles H. Bowman, Sr.; and her siblings, Julia Conway, Annie Edelen, Mamie Baker, Charles H. Bowman, II, Walter Bowman, Carroll Bowman, James Bowman, Bertie Bowman, Madeline Reed, Marie Bowman and Mary Jane Whalen.

She is survived by: her children, Thelma Johnson (Jackie) of Mechanicsville, MD, Karen Graves (Calvin) of Waldorf, MD, Samuel Veney (Karen) of Baltimore, MD and Jeryle Veney (Michelle) of Loveville, MD.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 23 great great grandchildren.
