He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Rochester Lane and John Horace Steele Lane; and his brother John H. S. Lane II. He is survived by: his wife Glenda J. Lane; his sons, Kevin D. Lane of Virginia Beach, VA and John E. Lane of Mechanicsville, MD; his brother Robert R. Lane of Mission Viejo, CA; and his grandchildren, Madison B. Lane and Keagan A. Lane.
