He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Carrie Rebecca Bond (Veach); his wife Louise M. Bond (Glotfelty); and his siblings, Irene Glenn, Mary Bond, Alice Hauser, Virginia Rainey, Roger W. Bond and Horace Cleggatte Bond.
He is survived by: his daughter Jenny Bond Lyons (Dick) of Harrisonburg, VA; his grandchildren, Amy Lyons Carlin (James) and Josh Lyons (Holly); his great grandchildren, Sydney and Owen Lyons; his grandchild Betsy Thorpe (Jay); and his great grandchildren, Riley and Maggie Thorpe.
