She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jorge Obando and Margaret Obando (Perez); her children, Michael Chaparro (Edda) and Mercedes Pellet (Michael); her sisters, Carman Garcia and Myriam Fernandez; and her grandchildren, Kevin Michael Pellet, Robert Scott Pellet, Dianne Ferazzi, Andre Pellet, Michael T. Pellet and Kathleen Chaparro.
Ms. Christian was the Founder of Peace Leaders Foundation for Abused Women, Miami, Florida.
