We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, at the age of 60, Daniel Shawn Jones of McCoole, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Daniel Shawn departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Daniel Shawn may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Daniel Shawn leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel B. Jones of Cordova, TN and Sharma J. Jones (Junkins); his sons, Daniel Cody Jones of Keyser and Casey Ray Jones of Keyser; his grandson Daniel Ezra Jones of Keyser; his sister Bernadette Sires (Edward) of Cordova, TN; and his niece Sarah Sires.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home ~ Keyser Chapel (85 S Main St, Keyser, WV 26726). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Thrush Cemetery.
