We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2019, at the age of 94, Vivian Amelia Carter (Maugansville, Maryland), born in Sharpsburg, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Spence and Ora Spence; her former life partner George Martin Wingerd; her husband Warren Harding Carter; her siblings, George Spence, Jr. of Hagerstown, Thelma White of Hagerstown, Donald Spence of Hagerstown, Rosealie Pentoney of Hagerstown, Lorraine Judd of Hagerstown and James Spence of Fairplay; and her children, Ora Lee, Cheryl and John Wingerd of Hagerstown.

She is survived by : her sister Nancy Hennesy of Texas; and her daughters, Linda Brown, Mary Ann Forcino (Don), Barbara Wolford, Denise Jenkins, Jane Fotta, Joan Moser and Angie Keyes (Rick). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
