He is survived by : his wife Vilma "Luvy" Mesner; his children, Krysten Mesner of Alexandria, VA and Jack Mesner (Becky) of Hagerstown, MD; his grandsons, Gregory, Owen Mesner of Hagerstown and Alexander Alvarenga Mesner of Alexandria; and also Octavio Mesner of St. Louis, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hagerstown Aviation Museum or Maugansville Church.
