He is survived by: his mother Betty Short; his wife Brenda Short of Marydel, MD; his sons, Joey Short (Nashira) of Rock Hall, MD and Josh Short (Jewell) of Denton, MD; his grandchildren, Mathew, Russell, Lay (Ana) and Rylee; his siblings, Connie Robinson of Church Hill, MD and Rick Short of Millington, MD.; and also Betty Short of Chestertown, MD.
