He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin Daniels and Mary "Nowland" Daniels; his close friend Patsy Long; and his siblings, Louise Clough, Margaret Fergussen, Betty Short, Edna Daniels, Raymond, Bill, Bob, Preston and Frank Daniels.
He is survived by: his children, Loretta Long (Fred) of Dover, DE, Crystal Long of Dover, DE, Lucille Parker (Joey) and Charles Long (Jessica) of Greensboro, MD; his grandchildren, Ashley Parker (Scott Alt), Kevin Parker, James Steffin, Desiree Steffin and Robert Long; and his great grandchild Kayden Vonville.
