He is survived by: his wife Linda Diane Childers; his children, Brie Mercedias Childers-Holt (Scott) and Daniel Vernon Childers; his daughter-in-law Deni Starr; his grandchildren, Christopher Lee Childers (Mandy) and Christina Marie Graff (Douglas); his brothers, Cecil (Martha), Dennis (Sheryl), Gary (Anne) and Donald (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Larry, Mike and Debra. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
