She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Edward Shipe, Jr. and Mary Dixon Shipe. She is survived by: her husband Roland Morris Matthews of Marion Station; her children, Mindy Matthews of Pocomoke and Patrick Matthews (Amiee) of Princess Anne; her siblings, Julie Frey (Steve) of Westover and Phillip Shipe of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Noah, Jordon, Katherine, Kayley and Austin; and her cousin Sue Sherman of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help the family with final expenses are requested to be sent to Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home, 306 W. Main Street, Crisfield, MD 21817.
