She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edward "Toots" Archie and Evelyn Z. Cottman-Archie; her husband George Steward, Sr.; and her siblings, Thomas Archie, Thomas Worthy, Gertrude Archie, Iris Miles, Sarah Nutter, Naomi Whittington and Lillie Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, George Steward, Jr. (Anne), Sharon Wilson (Milton), Romaine Henderson (Charles), Venessa Steward and Crystal Johnson; her siblings, James Archie (Marjorie), Tyrone Worthy (Naomi), Lucille Burrows and Delores Schoolfield; her goddaughter Jennifer Miles; her close friend Shirley Potter; and also, Charmaine Collins, Gail Lankford, Betty Jean Horsey and Sheila Fisher. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
