She was predeceased by: her father Donald C. Smith; and her stepfather William A. Sprague. She is survived by: her mother Norma Sprague of Onancock, VA; her husband Robert Maddox, Jr. of Marion Station; her daughter Amanda Holland (Robert Holland, Jr.); her grandson David Holland of Crisfield; her siblings, Donna Baker of Chesapeake, VA and Dale Smith (Susan) of Onancock, VA; her half-sister Donnell Kisa (Jeff) of Hudson, Colorado; and her sister-in-law Betsy McCready (Mike) of Princess Anne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; her dogs.
