He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Winder and Lillie Jackson Winder; his wife Gloria Winder; and his siblings, McClenit Winder, Coulburn Winder, Bannie Winder, Monroe Winder, Jr., Madeline Moore and Ellen Rae Nichols.
He is survived by: his children, Monte Carlo Winder, Jr., Debbie Gardner, Amanda Showell, Priscilla Midder, Sonya Showell and Michelle Holbrook; his siblings, Chester Winder, Sr. and Starmine Saunders; his niece Tyann Roberts; his close friends, Albert Sturgis and Bob Simpson; and his grandchildren, DaQuawn Winder, Luke Winder and Elijah Winder. He is also survived by other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
