He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Wright, Sr. and Blanche W. Wright; his wife Ellen Leonard Dougherty Wright; his daughter Barbara Williams; his son-in-law Lee Harcum; and his siblings, Charles M. Wright, Jr., Richard William "Dick" Wright, Dorothy Layton, Nellie Henry, Louise Ruth, Elizabeth Horner and Marie Ruhl.

He is survived by: his children, Charlene Harcum, Janet Mercer (Rick) and Keenan Wright (Susan); his son-in-law Barry Williams; his grandchildren, Jaime Schindelbeck (Shawn), Justin Williamson (Margie), Jacob Williamson (Gwen), Stacey Harr (Chris) and Sarah Williams; his great grandchildren, Stefan, Kyle, Rebekah Schindelbeck, Bryce Harr, Rhian and Maisie Williamson; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Alyssa Conroy (Michael) and Sierra Payne (Trevor). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
