She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto James Gattis and Nettie Olivia Gattis (Dashield) of Mardela Springs, Maryland.; her former spouse Willie Harris; her grandparents, Ware, Emma Gattis, John and Emma Dashield; her aunt Ada Gattis; and her niece Rhonda Gattis.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rosa Morgan of Forestville, Maryland, Ronald Gattis (Barbara) of Clinton, Maryland and Catherine Waller of Mardela Springs; and her close friend Pamela Waters of Salisbury, Maryland. She is also survived by relatives, cousins, and friends.
