He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Max Adkins and Kathryn Wilson Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn A. Adkins; his children, Ace Lee Adkins (Cindy Lee) and Sherry Beverley (Bill); and his grandchildren, Jonathan (Lauren Balas), Hannah (Abigail Adkins), Tyler and Will (Emma Beverley). He is also survived by many cousins, and extended family.
