She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheila McNair Scott and Norman Thomas, Sr.; her sons, Johnathan D. Beasley (Monique) and James O. Beasley; and her brothers, Charles Scott, Jr. and Leonard Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughter Cassandra T. Scott; her siblings, Norman Thomas, Jr. (Terri), Shawn Thomas, Shanda Braboy (Rufus), Norma Maddox, Carolyn Robinson, Kim Robinson (Barbara), Linda Dobson (Louis), Cleo Murray (Lamont) and Norris Scott; her aunt Rhonda Brown; her grandchildren, Mariah Scott, Kavante Dawson, Jahnee Beasley and Dominique Beasley; her godson Thomas Blount, Jr.; and her niece Kiya Lofland. She is also survived by other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.
