He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Strickland and Eugenia Strickland; his brother Jakie Strickland; his daughter Heather Underwood; and his nephew Joshua Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Strickland; his daughter Jessica Underwood; and his siblings, Debbie McGuigan (Jimmy), Ronnie Strickland (Jeanie) and Betty Tilley. He is also survived by grandchildren, many nephews and nieces.
