He is survived by: his siblings, James, Faye, Mary V., Paul, Harryette, Kathryn Ann and Samuel; his children, Darrick and Wanda; his wife Elizabeth Ellen Gray; his children, Oliver Jr., Tara, Schirra Sr. (Dorothy) and Aimee (Jimmy); his grandchildren, George III (Bridget), Anjela, Schirra Jr. (Amy), Miki (Joe), Robert and Justin; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Tyler, Jordan, Noah, Hannah, Mason, Makayla, Isabella, Tehya and River; and his siblings, Sylvia, Herbert and Sharon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Oliver's name to the American Heart Association.
