Sophia Diane Taylor Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophia Diane Taylor of Manchester, Maryland, born in Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel E. Taylor; her parents, Sidaris Galatis and Aphrodite Galatis; and her son Nick Taylor. She is survived by: her sons, Harry Taylor (Terri) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Samuel Taylor (Bonnie) of Martinsburg, WV and Dan Taylor (Jennifer) of Fort Pierce, FL.; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Taylor. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
In light of the COVID-19 health crisis, services for Sophia and her interment at the Greek Orthodox (Evangelimas) Cemetery in Woodlawn will be private at this time.
