She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ross and Martha Florence Wilhelm McComas; her husband Richard Franklin Simpers; and her siblings, Eileen Fowble, Myles McComas and Sterling McComas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Rowe (Harold) of Manchester and Dixie Hoff (Daniel) of Elk Creek, VA.; her grandchildren, Evan Rowe (Melissa), Kayci Hoff, Erin Deli (Bryan), Jayson Hoff and Jonathon Hoff; and her great grandchildren, Dustin and Allie Rowe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
