He was predeceased by: his parent Emil Francis; his son John Francis Heim; and his siblings, Arden, Carter and Frank.
He is survived by: his parent Catherine Marie Cremen Heim, Sr.; his spouse Fay Calhoun Butler-Heim; his children, Robert Joseph Heim, Jr., Veronica Marie O'Connor, Roseanne Kathleen Heist and Michael James Heim; his stepdaughters, Sheri Cappelletti and Laura E. Butler; and his siblings, William Duston Heim and Claudia Catherine Stewart. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
