With solemn reverence, we commemorate Rita Shiffer of Manchester, Maryland, whose life came to an end on February 21, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Rita farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rita is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Stajewski and Helen Biros Stajewski; her brothers, John Stajewski (Anne) and Aloysius Stajewski (Rita); and her brother-in-law Robert Croyle.
She is survived by: her daughter Raelene Perfetto (John) of Manchester, MD; her grandson Nikita John Perfetto; and her sister Theresa Croyle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas-St. Mary's Parish (226 S Washington St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
