It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Rhoten Jr. of Manchester, Maryland, born in Hampstead, Maryland, who passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester L. Rhoten, Sr. and Gladys Ruth Davidson Rhoten; his wife Dorothy Lee Haines Rhoten; and his siblings, Frances Long, Charles Rhoten and Gene Rhoten.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Yeager (Jay) of Hanover, PA, Sharon Schaeffer (John) of Manchester, MD, Bonnie Haberstick (Randy) of California and Lester "Buddy" Rhoten, III (Connie) of Manchester, MD; his stepchildren, Leonard Little, Jr. of Florida, Pam Velnoskey (Doug) of Westminster, MD and Denise Little of Hampstead, MD; and his brothers, Robert of Hanover, PA. and Larry Rhoten of Hanover, PA.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
